25 years of Oil and Gas of Uzbekistan - OGU Exhibition and Conference. it is an excellent opportunity to review the achievements made over this truly significant period. With unabashed pride, we can say that during this period the most important strategic objectives have been addressed on increasing potential of the fuel and energy sector of Uzbekistan. There were targeted programs developed and implemented for production and processing of our own hydrocarbons, including through the launch of a plant for production of synthetic fuel at the international standards - Uzbekistan GTL - the unique facility in Central Asia. As never before, the investment attractiveness of the oil and gas industry has increased, foreign capital has been disbursed for development of oil and gas fields, hydrocarbon production, modernization and construction of new facilities. Despite the successes, we boldly look to the future and set ourselves the most ambitious objectives for transformation and further development of the national fuel and energy sector. The steady interest of the international oil and gas community and financial institutions gives us the opportunity to be confident in the high efficiency of holding this anniversary oil and gas forum in Uzbekistan.
